on the wines! And thank you, Marilyn Harris of WKRC, for having me on your Saturday radio show and for featuring Red Head
Ranch wines. Big thanks to all the gang at Tramonte & Sons, our Ohio distributor, for making our trip a success!!
SF Bay Area wine writer, Laurie Daniel, recently tasted a selection of RHR wines and had this to say:
RHR 2004 Old Bailey Cabernet Sauvignon - "a superb example of Paso Robles cabernet: big, ripe, dark and concentrated, with black cherry
and cassis fruit and a hint of anise. ... a well-structured wine that easily could be cellared for a few years."
RHR 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon - "this cab, which also contains 25% petit verdot, ... displays rich, ripe cherry flavors with accents of
mocha and spice and a smooth, supple finish."
RHR 2004 Zinfandel - "... this zin is ripe, plush and smooth, with sweet berry fruit."
RHR 2004 R3 - "This blend of syrah, cabernet sauvignon and malbec offers ripe, plush blackberry and black raspberry fruit,
supported by good acidity and firm tannins."
