Winemaking
Hand harvested grapes. Fermented in a stainless steel tank with aerative pump-overs performed twice a day. Pressed at dryness and aged for 18 months in new Trust Hungarian oak barrels and three year old French oak barrels.
Bottled unfiltered on July 10, 2006.

21 cases of 750 ml.

Tasting Notes
Dark plum and currant fruit flavors cascade on the palate with a finish that highlights the soft, velvety texture of the wine. Aging in Hungarian oak produces underlying notes of oriental spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, which complement the wine's body and depth.
